General Information on AIDS

(2) Definition - The combined group
of many symptoms obtained due to lack of immunity is 'S'.
(3) AIDS is HIV. This is a disease
caused by a virus. The Human Immuno Deficiency

(4) AIDS virus was discovered in 1983 by scientists Dr. Luke Mattiger
(French) and Dr. Robert Gallo (American).

first AIDS patient was found in the United States.

AIDS diagnostic tests
(1) ELISA test HIV . The primary diagnosis of infection is. Available everywhere, it can be negative
during the window period (up to 5 months).
So this test has to be done again after 3 months.
(2) Western Blot is a 100% sure
test. If the ELISA test is positive, HIV
infection can be confirmed with this test.
(3) P.C.R. (E.C.R Test) The
world's most advanced / advanced test, DNA.
Check. Infection can be diagnosed
on the third day.
